The Trinity Knot is one of the most popular Celtic symbols. Found throughout old Irish manuscripts such as The Book of Kells and on monuments, it has a number of meanings depending on the context on which it was used.
Some people like to use the Trinity Knot to represent the 3-in-1, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. But the meaning we most like to use is that the three parts of the Trinity Knot represent the three promises of a relationship which are to Love, Honour and Protect.
It is one of the most popular and well known Celtic designs and features prominently throughout the Book of Kells.
