Sparkle St Patrick’s Day and beyond in these dazzling Shamrock drop earrings. Crafted from sterling silver, the cubic zirconia embellished open circles feature a Shamrock formed by three green heart shaped crystal.
Made in Ireland and Hallmarked in the Assay Office in Dublin Castle.
Description
Shamrocks have been symbolic of many things, including luck, riches and fame. The shamrock was a sacred plant to the Druids of Ireland because its leaves formed a triad, and three was a mystical number in the Celtic religion, as in many others. St. Patrick used the shamrock in the 5th century to illustrate the doctrine of the Holy Trinity as he introduced Christianity to Ireland and this is why every St. Patricks Day, the people of Ireland and the Irish diaspora throughout the world wear shamrocks.
