This lovely cross, known as the Cross of St. Patrick, is found in Carndonagh in the north of Donegal, Ireland. This cross is different in that it does not have the ring that we all associate with Celtic crosses and is believed to have been erected in the 9th or 10th century because of its intricate interlaced patterns. Â There is also scenes featuring Christ and of other unidentified ecclesiastics.
