Emerald & Diamond Shamrock Earrings

Shine bright with these open Shamrock earrings from Solvar. Beautifully crafted from 14K gold and set with Diamonds and a single Emerald in each earring. Shamrocks have been symbolic of many things, including luck, riches and fame. The shamrock was a sacred plant to the Druids of Ireland because its leaves formed a triad, and three was a mystical number in the Celtic religion, as in many others. St. Patrick used the shamrock in the 5th century to illustrate the doctrine of the Holy Trinity as he introduced Christianity to Ireland and this is why every St. Patricks Day, the people of Ireland and the Irish diaspora throughout the world wear shamrocks. Made in Ireland and hallmarked in the Dublin Assay Office. Presented in  a Fallers gift box.
